「Atlantic Pacific Japan

Wednesday began with a review of material covered over the previous two days. Robin and the Nebama Mind boat crew gave an informative explanation of their boat station project. This was followed by a question and answer session and group discussion. This day also featured zoom visits by citizens of Kamaishi- one being a local citizen and the other a member of the local government. The next talk was by Aoyama Sensei of the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute of Tokyo University. Aoyama sensei, who has discovered a new species of eel, gave an informative and enjoyable lecture. After a Q&A session and discussion, Yamada Shusei spoke on sustainability issues, focusing on bio diesel engine fuel.
